“I think we are seeing some important stuff happening. We’re seeing possible reinvention of Washington from the grassroots. Not just words but actual occurrences. I think come January we will see more transparency in government. We will see a great reduction in criminal activity performed by the government.”
Insightful. I especially liked the use of denim by the interviewer. Its a sharp contrast to the white background and really brings attention to her bold statements about life, liberty and the pursuit of pr and this crazy modern world.
Great questions. I hope he’s right about politics becoming more honest because of the media.

Good work Jovanna. You should have asked him about the house in Portland that was robbed and about his refusal to build in an ad model. Craigslist is one of the few sites out there with no ad model and a small staff that captures a large, VERY large traffic segment.
Newmark is a pioneer and his approach has changed the face of many industries. Classifieds in major cities are essentially dead because of him and the features like “missed connections” has crossed over into the main stream on many occasions and have been embraced by conventional media.
Great interview. Really touches on the issue of internet and elections.
