1. Hillary and McCain will be nominated and Hillary will win.
2. The Patriots will lose before Isiah Thomas will be fired as both Coach and President of the Knicks.
3. In PR and Communications, ”Social Media Video Releases” and “B to F Marketing” will become common buzz words.
4. Stations will increasingly disclose use of 3rd party video–in part because of the amount of political content during the election year. Fines against Comcast by the FCC will not be collected.
5. There will be growing demand for PR pros who can place multimedia content online.
6. I’ll spend part of the year in a sling recovering from surgery for my torn rotator cuff and Roger Clemens will not give me any of his leftover steroids or HGH.
7. PRSA will honor Jack O’Dwyer with a lifetime achievement award.
So far my McCain prediction is looking better than my Hillary pick but it is a long race. Clemons is on target as he’ll be featured on 60 Minutes this Sunday. At least he’s admitted to being injected.
